About Me

Hi, I'm Kristie. I have wanted to become a therapist ever since I was a little kid...and with perseverance and God's gentle guidance I achieved my dream. I work to create an atmosphere around empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, which is an important first step in the healing process. I believe in applying strengths we have within ourselves in order to help us overcome our difficult experiences. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach, allowing clients to explore how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected. Together we can create a space to begin to work through difficult experiences while discovering the best self you can be. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UW of Oshkosh. I join Walk by Faith partnering to build an atmosphere of positive self-regard and healing in relationships.
