About Me

I began my counseling journey after finding sobriety in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. My years of service, including a 2006 deployment aboard an Expeditionary Strike Group, deepened my understanding of service-connected trauma and the power of recovery. Through grace and faith, I discovered a calling to help others find healing and purpose.

After 26 years of combined service in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and U.S. Coast Guard, I completed my clinical mental health counseling internship in 2014 at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC under the supervision of the Chief of Behavioral Health. I also completed my alcohol and drug treatment internship at Great Lakes Recovery in 2003. Following this work, I transitioned into civilian practice. It is my honor to walk with individuals, couples, and families as they confront past wounds, rediscover hope, and move toward a more connected and purposeful life.
