About Me
I began my counseling profession after hitting bottom in 2001, facing the impact of multiple addictions and trauma. Through a journey marked by grace and unexpected opportunities, I discovered a calling to walk alongside others. With 26 years of military service advocating for recovery, I transitioned into the private sector, bringing with me a deep understanding of the complex intersection of culture, faith, and personal struggles.
This path has given me a deep compassion for those who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges. It is an honor to help others confront past wounds, take intentional steps toward healing, and move from isolation into a more connected, joyful life.

I was a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through IITAP from 2019 to 2024. After sharing an advanced copy of Walk by Faith, Not by Sexuality—which outlines my faith-based protocol—with IITAP, we respectfully ended our affiliation due to differing ethical frameworks. My approach aligns with the AACC Code of Ethics 1-120-f: Application to Sexuality and Sexual Behavior, which differs from IITAP’s guidelines regarding sexual orientation. While I specialize in faith-based, spiritually-integrated care for clients who request it, I am committed to providing compassionate, respectful treatment to all individuals, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identities. I am also continuing advanced training with Christian Sex Addiction Specialists International (C-SASI) to better serve those seeking faith-informed treatment.
