About Me

Hi, I’m Terry, Founder and Director of Walk by Faith Counseling. My path into the counseling field began after experiencing the redeeming grace of sobriety in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Through more than 26 years of combined military service in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and the U.S. Coast Guard, including a 2006 global deployment, I have gained a profound understanding of the complex impacts of service, trauma, and recovery. Guided by my Christian faith and the transformative grace of Jesus Christ, I discovered a clear calling to help others pursue healing, wholeness, and purpose.

In my clinical practice, I integrate professional psychological principles with a biblical worldview, helping clients live congruently with their faith while cultivating emotional resilience, spiritual integrity, and authentic connection. Whether you are navigating trauma, recovery, or identity, my goal is to provide a supportive, faith-forward space where you can experience genuine restoration and growth.
